What does a typical day look like for you?

I am responsible for leading the construction of two new hospital on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus - Cambridge Children's Hospital and Cambridge Cancer Research Hospital.  My day consists of moving each project forward through engagement with a whole host of different professional disciplines, including designers, project managers, quantity surveys and contractors.  My role helps to resolve difficult challenges and where necessary secure governance approval through each project's Construction Board.

What inspired you to join the Cambridge Children’s Hospital Project?

Knowing that I have played a part in the success of the Cambridge Children's Hospital will be a career highlight.

Most days on the project are meaningful and often interesting but reaching the milestone of appointing a construction partner has been a highlight that brings the project much closer to fruition.
