Almost £60 million raised of a £100 million to enable the transformation of children’s healthcare.
Cambridge Children’s Hospital is supported by a £100 million fundraising campaign, which will enable the hospital’s world-first model of care to become a reality.
Cambridge Children's Hospital will be a world-leading hospital that brings together physical and mental healthcare for children and young people in a way that has never been done before. As the first specialist children's hospital for the East of England, it will work closely with regional services to provide care close to home, wherever possible, so that children can stay in the communities they know, with the people they love.
Read stories from children and families who have lived experience of hospital care.
The multi-disciplinary approach extends beyond patient care, with the Cambridge Children’s Research Institute set to embed research into the hospital, and work to uncover the early origins of both physical and mental health conditions. This will lead to the earlier intervention, mitigation and prevention of disease.
Philanthropy is helping to turn this vision into reality
Thanks to the generosity of supporters, we have raised £59 million. Donor support is enabling transformational investment in the spaces, equipment, innovation and research that will set the hospital apart. From creating welcoming environments designed around children and families, to accelerating breakthroughs in diagnosis, treatment and prevention, every gift will help ensure that Cambridge Children's Hospital can deliver the very best care and experience for patients and their families.
Raising £100 million will unlock the full ambition of Cambridge Children's Hospital, ensuring that future generations benefit from pioneering care, leading research and life-changing innovation. Together, we can create a whole new way of providing healthcare for children, young people and families across the East of England and far beyond.
