Why give?

Just imagine how it feels to make one child better. Now imagine making millions of children better. We have a chance to do just that.

We have a once in a lifetime opportunity to build a children’s hospital in the heart of Cambridge that will improve the lives of children regionally, nationally and globally.

Every gift will make a difference to the health of children and young people, and bring us closer to realising our bold vision. You can be part of this extraordinary opportunity.

The east of England is the only region in the UK without a dedicated children’s hospital. With a new hospital, we will be able to care for the whole child, treating all of their symptoms, whether visible or not. There will be more provision for intensive care, specialist wards and dedicated operating theatres. Cambridge Children’s Hospital will make all the difference, at a time when our help is needed more than ever.

To create this world-first hospital, we need your support. Whether you challenge yourself at one of our fundraising events, enable transformational research with a philanthropic gift or provide vital business sponsorship, every gift will make a difference.

Together the University of Cambridge, Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust and Head to Toe (the charity for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust) will build a community of supporters who share our vision. Who will help support ground-breaking research and clinical excellence. Who will create the safe spaces where children can feel better.
