Staff involvement

The collaboration between staff across the three partner organisations is crucial to the success of the Cambridge Children’s Hospital project.

Bringing together the expertise and experience across the three disciplines of mental and physical health and research is embedded in our workstream structure. There are also opportunities for wider staff to be involved:

  • Staff Reference Group – for staff who have expressed an interest in the hospital. The group hears directly from senior leaders of the project every six weeks to ask questions and give feedback on the progress being made.
  • All-Staff Briefings - quarterly virtual meetings for staff across the three partner organisations to hear from the project team, with updates from the different workstreams.
  • Design – we have a representative from each department of CCH to liaise with their colleagues and share feedback with the design team as we move through the RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) stages.
