True coproduction is all about services providers and service users working together, as equals. Our parent Coproduction Champions are key members of our project team.
We currently have ten parent Co-production Champions working on the Cambridge Children’s Hospital project. They sit across all aspects of the project and at all levels. They hold us to account, challenge us, and make us think differently. They inform decision making.
The role of the Co-production Champions is to share thoughts and ideas based on their own lived experience of caring for a child in hospital or mental health services. Additionally, they bring a wealth of professional expertise to the table.
